Music Contact International Company OverviewCorporate DataMusic Contact International started to promote Music Festivals for non-professional groups in 1987; first as a division of the special interest operator American Expeditions, and after a hugely successful first year as an entity of its own specializing in performance music programs only. Music Contact International, Inc. is a registered business and incorporated in the States of Vermont and New Jersey. Music Contact International is a registered trademark with the United States Patent office (# 1.661.052) Owners and founders of both companies are Jodi Breckenridge Hilker and Manfred Hilker. The first office was in New York City, which was moved to New Jersey for 2 years and found a final home in Burlington, Vermont. The University City of Burlington proved to be a First Class place of business. A vibrant cultural life and the presence of thousand of students and teachers in world class Colleges and Universities – and the extraordinary physical beauty of Northern Vermont – attract the international and sophisticated staff necessary to operate an international company. In 1997 Music Contact International, Inc. had grown so much that we needed more space. So we acquired our own office building on 119 - 125 South Winooski Avenue (located in Burlington’s charming Business District) where we now occupy more than 6000 square feet of office space. Miles traveledEvery year musicians and music and art lovers travel an average of 45,000,000 miles with Music Contact International, Inc. to performing events around the globe, That’s more than 1000 times around the globe! As a result of this flurry of activities we have established an array of friendships with friends of music and the art around the world and have become a respected facilitator for performing groups. School Board/District ApprovalsThe company protects its customers through insurance against liabilities that might arise from operation, advertisement, errors, negligence, etc. We are happy to provide insurance binders, naming your organization as co-insured. We have implemented insurance policies that are intended to protect organizations that umbrella the music group from the burden of buying additional insurance or insure risk normally not occurring in their structure. Our insurance program supports a group leader in the role s/he takes on as a tour organizer and shields them from risk of being personally responsible. Our program has satisfied the strictest standards school districts, theater companies, universities, state or federal organizations need to ask for. Happily, in the past 18 years of business we have never had a claim but we like to be sure that you are protected and prepared. Cooperation with other CompaniesAttributed to the success has the unique way, the founding of Music Contact International, Inc. went hand in hand with the creation of partner offices throughout the world. In 1987 ten seasoned and experienced special interest travel companies met to implement the international network so crucial for a truly international cultural experience for a music group going abroad. This aspect of International Festivals has even grown over the years and today you will meet, sing, exchange with music groups from many countries during one festival. It is not just American musicians traveling to the Festival, many international groups travel to this festival. Our Partners → |
