Visiting the French Alps, this group experienced the Grotte de Glace, a cave built into the Mer de Glace Glacier in Chamonix. We took the Montenvers Railway, opened in 1908, a cogwheel train to get to the access point with spectacular views, then hiked about 580 steps into the cave (and uphill all the way back!)

A gorgeous boat ride in Camargue, visiting La Maison Carrée in Nimes, and sight seeing in Annecy, Avignon, Arles, Marseille and more, this was truly a trip of a lifetime!
