Music Monday | The Metropolitan Opera
Each day, the Metropolitan Opera will share a different encore presentation from the company’s Live in HD series for free streaming on the Met website. Each performance will be available from 7:30pm EDT until 6:30pm the following day. Monday April 13 they will feature Mozart’s Così fan tutte.
These free streams will present encores of past performances from the past 14 years of cinema transmissions, starring all of opera’s greatest singers.
On Monday April 6 they featured: Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida, set in the Old Kingdom of Egypt. Starring Anna Netrebko, Anita Rachvelishvili, Aleksandrs Antonenko, Quinn Kelsey, Dmitry Belosselskiy, and Ryan Speedo Green, conducted by Nicola Luisotti. Originally performed: October 6, 2018.

In a time of isolation and uncertainty, music can be both universal and unifying.
Human To Human, a Facebook Live Benefit Event that occurred on Saturday, April 11th raising over $60,000 with all proceeds benefiting PLUS1’s COVID-19 Relief Fund working in conjunction with MusiCares and Sweet Relief.
