“Thanks to music, streamed live, bringing together millions of clasped hands everywhere in the world, we will hug this wounded Earth’s pulsing heart.”-Andrea Bocelli, world-renowned Italian opera singer, performed a stunning “Music for Hope” concert from an empty Milan Cathedral on Easter Sunday.
His inspiring performances included “Panis Angelicus,” “Ava Maria,” “Sancta Maria” and “Domine Deus.” To close, he sang a moving rendition of “Amazing Grace” to a vacant Piazza del Duomo outside.
