During these unprecedented times, as our world combats COVID– 19, our staff is busy working from home on behalf of the wonderful ensembles who had planned their concert tours in spring and summer 2020. As each group is faced with the difficult decision to postpone or cancel, we are doing our best to support them, working with vendors and suppliers both abroad and in the USA to secure credits and refunds, and waiting patiently for many businesses to reopen.
As group leaders share kind words, hotels try to return what they can, and small businesses that may not have the means for refunds extend credit toward future services, we have many reasons to be grateful. The many supportive emails and texts we have received from our MCI friends make navigating these challenging times much easier. The global impact of this crisis, in every country and every state, reminds us that we are all in this together. We are so thankful for the goodwill we are feeling from all corners of the globe.
We are looking forward to the days ahead, when we can resume planning for tours later this year, in 2022, and beyond. We are excited to resume operations at our Burlington office and once again share our days together as a staff as we work with all of you on future performance travel.
In the meantime, we are all available and ready to respond to your questions and discuss future travel ideas. We can be reached at our regular phone numbers and email addresses. We hope you are finding ways to make the most of this time at home and, most of all, that you are staying safe and healthy.
With warm regards,
the Music Contact International team
